After posting 23 points in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Vipers, the New York Guardians have put a grand total of nine points on the board in the two games since.

The Guardians are back at MetLife Stadium this coming Saturday to face the LA Wildcats.

Los Angeles is a road favorite this week, mostly thanks to the 39-9 shellacking they dished out to the previously unbeaten DC Defenders last week.

Here is a look at the game odds from some of the top legal sportsbooks in the US.

FanDuel

Wildcats -7.5 (-105)

Guardians +7.5 (-115)

DraftKings

Wildcats -7 (-110)

Guardians +7 (-110)

888 Sport

Wildcats -7 (-110)

Guardians +7 (-110)

Bet 365

Wildcats -7 (-110)

Guardians +7 (-110)

Over under and moneyline

The total for the game is set at 39.5 points at FanDuel, DraftKings and 888 Sport while Bet365 is a smidge lower at 39.0 points.

Moneylines are coming in at -310 Wildcats and +240 Guardians at FanDuel.

DraftKings has the moneylines set at -315 for Los Angeles and +245 for New York.

Seeking a starting QB and an offensive groove

The Guardians already had a QB battle brewing after Matt McGloin ripped his own team’s preparation in Week 2.

That battle was ratcheted up this past week in a 29-9 loss to the St. Louis BattleHawks as McGloin suffered a rib injury.

McGloin finished the game having gone 8-of-11 for 84 yards and a pick. He was replaced in the second half by Marquise Williams. Williams completed his day having gone 7-of-15 for 94 yards. He did not throw a touchdown or an interception.

All told, the Guardians are looking like the dregs of the league and will likely be underdogs in most games the rest of the way. Their 23-3 home win over the Vipers back in Week 1 is looking less and less impressive as Tampa Bay fell to 0-3 on the season this past weekend.
